Aberdeen

Websites for the Aberdeen businesses that never got round to it

If you're not there when someone looks you up, the answer they find is a competitor who is.

Aberdeen is a granite city and it looks like nowhere else in Scotland. Union Street runs the length of it with Marischal College behind, the beach and the harbour are a short walk from the middle, and Old Aberdeen with the crown spire of King's College sits north of that. Past the centre it spreads into Dyce, Bridge of Don, Cults and Bieldside.

A small business here is competing in a city with money in it and plenty of firms that already look the part online. That cuts both ways. The standard is higher than in a small town and customers expect it, which means a joiner or a salon with no website at all stands out, just not in the way anybody wants.

Here is the honest part. We are in Glasgow and Aberdeen is the best part of three hours away, so we are not going to pretend we will pop up for a coffee. What we will do is exactly what we do for a business ten minutes from us: one phone call of about twenty minutes, then email, and you watch the pages get built. That is how nearly all of these get made anyway. £500, same as everywhere else.

Everywhere else we cover →

  • The city centre and Union Street. Salons, cafes, barbers and small practices in and off the main street.
  • Dyce and Bridge of Don. Trades, garages and small firms on the north and west edges.
  • Cults, Bieldside and Milltimber. Gardeners, joiners and services working the Deeside road.
  • Torry, Kincorth and Cove. Van based trades and small contractors south of the harbour.
  • Old Aberdeen, Woodside and Mastrick. Same terms, all covered.

Compare the cost

Why £500 once beats "from £350"

Budget web packages advertise a low headline price, then tie you to a monthly direct debit for a year and a half. Here's how that actually adds up.

Our three year figure is £500 plus roughly £20 a year for domain renewal after the first year. One like-for-like note: pay-monthly totals usually include an email inbox and ours doesn't. Email is an optional add-on, priced on request. We do offer optional care plans from £24.99 a month if you'd rather we looked after the site. It is never required, there is no minimum term, and the three year figures above assume you don't take it. Even allowing for that, the gap doesn't close. Comparison figures are typical advertised UK prices for budget and DIY packages in 2026, and minimum terms are those the providers publish themselves. Always check what your own quote includes.

The only clause that matters

£500 fixed. We don't get half of it until you're happy.

£500, fixed. Half gets the build started; the other half is due only once you've approved the finished site. If we can't get it right, you don't pay it, and the site still transfers to you.

  • You approve it before the balance is due. Not the other way round.
  • We carry the risk. If we can't get it right, you don't pay the balance.
  • It's yours outright. Site and domain, both in your name.

The work

What a £500 website actually looks like

Aberdeen runs on joiners, electricians, plumbers, garages, hairdressers and cafes, with a good number of the smaller firms working alongside the energy trade rather than in it. Start with Local Conference Solutions, live now.

After you're live · optional

Never want to think about this again?

Once your site is live it is yours. It keeps working whether you pay us another penny or not, and most owners simply renew the domain each year. If you would rather hand the upkeep over, there are two plans. Both are optional, month to month, and neither is mentioned on the call.

  • Care plan, £24.99 a month. Hosting, domain, backups, three changes a month and a traffic report. For a site that is live and just needs looking after.
  • Success plan, £99 a month. All of that, plus changes as you go, Michael directly rather than a ticket, and half an hour on the phone each month.
  • Neither is required. The £500 does not depend on it, and we only raise it near the end of a build if we think it would genuinely help.

The bit that matters

£0required

You can take the site and never hear from us again.

Cancel any time, and the site stays yours. It does not come down, it does not get locked, and we hand over every login.

That is not how most monthly website deals work. The usual arrangement is a small setup fee, a direct debit, a minimum term of a year or more, and a site that stops being yours the moment you stop paying. Which is exactly why this is written here rather than buried in terms.

How it works

Four steps, and you're only ever committed to the one you're on

01 Free

See a free preview

We show you a preview of what your site could look like before you spend a penny. If it's not for you, that's the end of it. No hard feelings.

02 £250

Start the build

Like the direction? The first half, £250, gets the build under way. We have a quick call about your business so we can write your pages properly.

03 About a week

Site goes live

Your site goes live at your own address about a week after our call. You get up to two rounds of changes to get it just right.

04 £250

Approve it, or walk away

Approve it and the last £250 completes the £500. If we've not got it right, you don't pay it. The deposit covers the work done and the site is still yours.

Questions

What Aberdeen businesses ask before getting a website made

You are in Glasgow. Why would I use you rather than an Aberdeen firm?

For the price and the speed, and it is worth weighing that honestly. An Aberdeen agency can sit across a desk from you and we cannot, not without the best part of six hours in a car. What we do is one focused job for £500 with five pages live in about a week, written around Aberdeen and the areas you actually work. If meeting in person matters more to you than that, use somebody local and we will not try to talk you out of it.

How much does it cost to get a website made in Aberdeen?

Across the UK in 2026, freelancers typically charge £800 to £3,000 for a small business website and agencies £2,500 to £10,000. Budget packages advertise from around £299 to £350, but usually add £20 to £30 a month on a minimum term of a year or more, which works out dearer inside two years.

Ours is £500 once, the same price in Aberdeen as in Glasgow. The only ongoing cost is about £20 a year for the domain, and that goes to the registrar, not to us. See the full price breakdown →

Will my site be set up to rank in Aberdeen searches?

Yes. Your Aberdeen location and the areas you cover are written into the pages and the underlying code, so the site says Union Street, Marischal College, Aberdeen Beach, the Harbour, Old Aberdeen, King's College rather than just "Scotland". We also set up or tidy your Google Business Profile, which is what puts you on Google Maps when someone nearby searches for what you do.

Nobody honest will promise you a particular position for £500, and we will not. What we will do is the groundwork properly, which is more than a lot of sites at any price get.

Do you cover the areas around Aberdeen too?

Yes. Dundee, Stirling and Falkirk are all covered on exactly the same terms, and each has its own page: Dundee, Stirling, Falkirk. If your town is not listed, ask anyway, because the answer is nearly always yes. Here is everywhere we cover.

Can you build the whole website for me?

That's the whole idea. We do all of it: the words, the design, the photos, the domain, the hosting and the Google side, then show you the finished site and you tell us what to change.

Your part is a 20 minute phone call and any pictures you've already got on your phone. There's no software for you to learn and nothing for you to write.

Are there any monthly fees?

None that you have to pay. Hosting, the security certificate and backups are included for the first year, and after that the only bill is the domain renewal, about £20 a year, paid directly to the registrar. There's no contract and nothing to cancel.

If you would rather we kept looking after the site there are optional plans from £24.99 a month, but you can take the site and never hear from us again and it will carry on working.

What's the catch with the £500?

There isn't one. We keep the price down by doing one focused job well: a fast, good-looking site that gets you found and gets your phone ringing. £500 is the whole price of the website.

What it doesn't buy is an online shop, a booking system or a custom-built app. Those are real development jobs and cost real money, and if that's what your business needs we'll say so on the call rather than sell you something that won't do it. More questions answered here.
