Stirling
Websites for the Stirling businesses that never got round to it
If you're not there when someone looks you up, the answer they find is a competitor who is.
Stirling is small enough to walk and old enough to be worth walking. The castle sits at the top of the hill with Broad Street and the Church of the Holy Rude below it, and the town runs downhill from there to Murray Place, Port Street and the Thistles. Cross the Old Bridge and the Wallace Monument is up on Abbey Craig looking back at you.
The businesses here are not all chasing the same customer. A joiner in St Ninians wants the next street over. A cafe on Baker Street wants whoever is walking down from the castle. Both get found the same way now, which is somebody on a phone typing what they need, and neither gets found at all without a website that says plainly where they are and what they do.
We build from Glasgow's Southside, about forty five minutes up the M80 and M9. Far enough that most of this happens by phone and email, close enough that coming out to Stirling is no trouble if you would rather sit down with someone first. It is £500 for the five pages whichever way you want to do it.
- The Old Town and Broad Street. Cafes, guest houses and small shops working the walk up to the castle.
- St Ninians and Torbrex. Joiners, electricians and gardeners covering the south side of the town.
- Raploch, Cornton and Causewayhead. Trades run from the house, plus childminders and mobile hairdressers.
- Bridge of Allan and Dunblane. Salons, practices and independents on both high streets.
- Bannockburn, Cowie, Fallin and Plean. Same run out the A872, same price.

Being found in Stirling
Stirling businesses get searched for twice
We work across Stirling and everything round it, from the Old Town and King's Park out through Raploch, Cornton and Causewayhead, south to St Ninians, Torbrex and Cambusbarron, and on to Bannockburn, Bridge of Allan and Dunblane.
Two very different people look for a Stirling business and they do not type the same thing. One is standing in Raploch or St Ninians and wants somebody nearby this week, so they type the trade and the town, or the trade and their own corner of it. The other is three hundred miles away planning a weekend and types the thing plus Stirling, weeks before they arrive. Both of those searches run all year, and most local websites here are written for only the first.
That matters more in a town with a castle in it than in one without. A guest house, a cafe, a taxi, a photographer, a barber near the Old Town: every one of them gets found by people who have not turned up yet. A page that names Stirling, names the work and names streets a stranger would recognise answers both searches at once, and writing it that way costs nothing extra.
What Stirling businesses get wrong online
Writing only for people who already live here.
CommonA site that assumes the reader knows where Baker Street is loses the family planning a trip from Newcastle. Naming the castle, the Old Town or the Thistles is not tourist decoration, it is how somebody who has never been works out where you are.
Leaving Bridge of Allan and Dunblane off the page.
CommonThey are up the road, they get searched on their own names, and plenty of Stirling businesses already take work in both. If the website does not say it, those searches go to somebody who did.
Leaning on a Facebook page through the summer.
CommonVisitor season is the one stretch of the year when a business gets found by people who have never heard of it. A Facebook page does not appear in that search at all, so the busiest months are the ones it costs you the most.

Why £500 once beats "from £350"
Budget web packages advertise a low headline price, then tie you to a monthly direct debit for a year and a half. Here's how that actually adds up.
| Feature | Savvy Website | Typical pay-monthly package | DIY site builder |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up front | £500 | from £299 | £0 |
| Monthly fees | None you have to pay | £20–£30 a month | £13–£25 a month |
| Minimum term | None | Often 12 to 18 months | Rolling, but forever |
| Cost over 3 years | £540 | around £1,200 | around £700, and rising |
| Who writes the words | We do | Usually you | You |
| Your own domain | Included, first year | Sometimes included | Paid extra |
| Who owns it | You, outright | Usually them | You rent it |
| If you stop paying | Nothing happens | Site comes down | Site comes down |
Our three year figure is £500 plus roughly £20 a year for domain renewal after the first year. One like-for-like note: pay-monthly totals usually include an email inbox and ours doesn't. Email is an optional add-on, priced on request. We do offer optional care plans from £24.99 a month if you'd rather we looked after the site. It is never required, there is no minimum term, and the three year figures above assume you don't take it. Even allowing for that, the gap doesn't close. Comparison figures are typical advertised UK prices for budget and DIY packages in 2026, and minimum terms are those the providers publish themselves. Always check what your own quote includes.
The only clause that matters
£500 fixed. We don't get half of it until you're happy.
£500, fixed. Half gets the build started; the other half is due only once you've approved the finished site. If we can't get it right, you don't pay it, and the site still transfers to you.
- You approve it before the balance is due. Not the other way round.
- We carry the risk. If we can't get it right, you don't pay the balance.
- It's yours outright. Site and domain, both in your name.
The arithmetic, in full
Fixed. That is the whole cost of your website, and there are no monthly fees to us, ever.
- Today, to start the build
- £250
- Once you've approved it
- £250
- Monthly fees, either way
- None
Card, Apple Pay or Klarna, handled by Stripe. If you would rather get a price first, start there instead.
We don't get that second £250 until you tell us the site is right. If we can't get it right, you don't pay it, and the site still transfers to you.

The work
What a £500 website actually looks like
Stirling runs on joiners, plumbers, driving instructors, hairdressers, cafes and guest houses, with a good number of them working for visitors as well as neighbours. Start with Local Conference Solutions, live now.

After you're live · optional
Never want to think about this again?
Once your site is live it is yours. It keeps working whether you pay us another penny or not, and most owners simply renew the domain each year. If you would rather hand the upkeep over, there are two plans. Both are optional, month to month, and neither is mentioned on the call.
- Care plan, £24.99 a month. Hosting, domain, backups, three changes a month and a traffic report. For a site that is live and just needs looking after.
- Success plan, £99 a month. All of that, plus changes as you go, Michael directly rather than a ticket, and half an hour on the phone each month.
- Neither is required. The £500 does not depend on it, and we only raise it near the end of a build if we think it would genuinely help.
The bit that matters
You can take the site and never hear from us again.
Cancel any time, and the site stays yours. It does not come down, it does not get locked, and we hand over every login.
That is not how most monthly website deals work. The usual arrangement is a small setup fee, a direct debit, a minimum term of a year or more, and a site that stops being yours the moment you stop paying. Which is exactly why this is written here rather than buried in terms.
How it works
Four steps, and you're only ever committed to the one you're on
See a free preview
We show you a preview of what your site could look like before you spend a penny. If it's not for you, that's the end of it. No hard feelings.
Start the build
Like the direction? The first half, £250, gets the build under way. We have a quick call about your business so we can write your pages properly.
Site goes live
Your site goes live at your own address about a week after our call. You get up to two rounds of changes to get it just right.
Approve it, or walk away
Approve it and the last £250 completes the £500. If we've not got it right, you don't pay it. The deposit covers the work done and the site is still yours.

Tell us what you do. We'll send back a price and a plan.
Two fields is enough to start. You'll have your price within one working day, and a free one-page plan for your Stirling business alongside it. If the job's bigger than the £500 build, we'll tell you straight and quote it properly.
- A free plan comes with it. One page: where you come up on Google for what you do, who is above you, and the three things costing you calls. Yours to keep, whether you use us or not.
- We reply within one working day. Usually much sooner.
- No obligation, and no chasing. If it's not for you, that's the end of it.
- Rather just talk? Call or text Michael directly on 07508 750017, or message on WhatsApp.
If we emailed you first, the easiest thing is simply to hit reply.
Questions
What Stirling businesses ask before getting a website made
Most of my customers are visitors rather than locals. Does a local website still help?
It helps more, not less. Somebody planning a trip searches before they arrive, and they search for the thing plus the place, so the page has to name Stirling and name what you do. The same page still works for the person round the corner, because it says where you are. One phone call of about twenty minutes tells us who you are actually trying to reach and we write it for both. Stirling is about forty five minutes from us if you would rather talk in person, and it is £500 either way.
How much does it cost to get a website made in Stirling?
Across the UK in 2026, freelancers typically charge £800 to £3,000 for a small business website and agencies £2,500 to £10,000. Budget packages advertise from around £299 to £350, but usually add £20 to £30 a month on a minimum term of a year or more, which works out dearer inside two years.
Ours is £500 once, the same price in Stirling as in Glasgow. The only ongoing cost is about £20 a year for the domain, and that goes to the registrar, not to us. See the full price breakdown →
Will my site be set up to rank in Stirling searches?
Yes. Your Stirling location and the areas you cover are written into the pages and the underlying code, so the site says Stirling Castle, Broad Street, Baker Street, Port Street, Murray Place, King's Park rather than just "Scotland". We also set up or tidy your Google Business Profile, which is what puts you on Google Maps when someone nearby searches for what you do.
Nobody honest will promise you a particular position for £500, and we will not. What we will do is the groundwork properly, which is more than a lot of sites at any price get.
Do you cover the areas around Stirling too?
Yes. Falkirk, Cumbernauld and Airdrie are all covered on exactly the same terms, and each has its own page: Falkirk, Cumbernauld, Airdrie. If your town is not listed, ask anyway, because the answer is nearly always yes. Here is everywhere we cover.
Can you build the whole website for me?
That's the whole idea. We do all of it: the words, the design, the photos, the domain, the hosting and the Google side, then show you the finished site and you tell us what to change.
Your part is a 20 minute phone call and any pictures you've already got on your phone. There's no software for you to learn and nothing for you to write.
Are there any monthly fees?
None that you have to pay. Hosting, the security certificate and backups are included for the first year, and after that the only bill is the domain renewal, about £20 a year, paid directly to the registrar. There's no contract and nothing to cancel.
If you would rather we kept looking after the site there are optional plans from £24.99 a month, but you can take the site and never hear from us again and it will carry on working.
What's the catch with the £500?
There isn't one. We keep the price down by doing one focused job well: a fast, good-looking site that gets you found and gets your phone ringing. £500 is the whole price of the website.
What it doesn't buy is an online shop, a booking system or a custom-built app. Those are real development jobs and cost real money, and if that's what your business needs we'll say so on the call rather than sell you something that won't do it. More questions answered here.
