Falkirk does not stop at Falkirk. The High Street and Newmarket Street are the middle of it, but the town runs straight into Camelon and Bainsford one way, Larbert and Stenhousemuir the other, and Grangemouth sits along the river with its own everything. The Kelpies stand at the Helix and the Wheel lifts boats between two canals, and both bring people who were not planning to stop.
That sprawl is the thing that catches local businesses out. A tradesman working out of Bainsford will happily take a job in Polmont or Denny, but if the website only ever says Falkirk then the Polmont search never finds him. People type the name of their own bit of town, and whoever wrote that name down gets the call.

One name will not cover the Falkirk area

Falkirk is less one town than a run of them that grew into each other. Camelon, Bainsford, Carron, Larbert, Stenhousemuir, Grangemouth, Polmont, Denny. People who live in them identify with them rather than with Falkirk, and they search that way. Somebody in Stenhousemuir looking for a joiner types Stenhousemuir first, and only widens out if nothing useful comes back.
So the single word Falkirk does less work here than a town name usually does. A business that covers the whole area and says so on the page turns up in eight or nine searches instead of one, at no extra cost and no extra effort. A business that writes Falkirk and stops has quietly handed the other eight to whoever bothered to be specific.
What Falkirk businesses get wrong online
Naming the town and none of the places round it.
CommonGrangemouth, Larbert and Polmont are separate searches returning separate results. If you take work in them, the words have to be on the site, in the writing rather than in a list at the bottom.
Assuming the Kelpies bring you customers.
CommonThey bring a lot of people to the Helix. Unless the business is written so that somebody who has not arrived yet can find it, none of that footfall reaches you, and being ten minutes away does not change it.
Using a Grangemouth address for a business that works the whole area.
CommonIt reads as tied to the works and the refinery. That is fine if that is the trade. It is a problem if half the jobs actually come from Falkirk, Denny and Bonnybridge.

Our three year figure is £500 plus roughly £20 a year for domain renewal after the first year. One like-for-like note: pay-monthly totals usually include an email inbox and ours doesn't. Email is an optional add-on, priced on request. We do offer optional care plans from £24.99 a month if you'd rather we looked after the site. It is never required, there is no minimum term, and the three year figures above assume you don't take it. Even allowing for that, the gap doesn't close. Comparison figures are typical advertised UK prices for budget and DIY packages in 2026, and minimum terms are those the providers publish themselves. Always check what your own quote includes.
The only clause that matters
£500 fixed. We don't get half of it until you're happy.

Cancel any time, and the site stays yours. It does not come down, it does not get locked, and we hand over every login.
That is not how most monthly website deals work. The usual arrangement is a small setup fee, a direct debit, a minimum term of a year or more, and a site that stops being yours the moment you stop paying. Which is exactly why this is written here rather than buried in terms.

If you would rather we kept looking after the site there are optional plans from £24.99 a month, but you can take the site and never hear from us again and it will carry on working.
What's the catch with the £500?
There isn't one. We keep the price down by doing one focused job well: a fast, good-looking site that gets you found and gets your phone ringing. £500 is the whole price of the website.
