Clydebank
Websites for the Clydebank businesses that never got round to it
If you're not there when someone looks you up, the answer they find is a competitor who is.
Clydebank grew around a shipyard and a sewing machine factory, and both left marks you can still see. The Titan Crane stands over Queens Quay and the railway station is still called Singer. Day to day the town works out of the Clyde Shopping Centre on Kilbowie Road, Sylvania Way, and Dumbarton Road past the Town Hall.
People in Dalmuir, Whitecrook and Faifley look for things the same way as everyone else. Trade first, then Clydebank. What comes back is a short list, and the names on it get the phone calls. Being well known in the town does not put you there. A site that plainly says what you do will.
We are on Glasgow's Southside. Clydebank is around twenty five minutes through the Clyde Tunnel and out along Dumbarton Road, so it is a short run for us. Come in person or stay on the phone, whichever suits you better. It is five pages for £500 in both cases.
- The town centre and Sylvania Way. Shops, barbers and beauty rooms around the Clyde Shopping Centre.
- Dalmuir and Whitecrook. Joiners, plumbers and electricians working out the door.
- Radnor Park, Linnvale and Parkhall. Childminders, cleaners and small businesses run from home.
- Duntocher, Hardgate and Faifley. Landscapers, roofers and garages up towards the Kilpatrick Hills.
- Old Kilpatrick, Bowling and Drumchapel. All part of the same run out.

How Clydebank shoppers find the independents
We work right across Clydebank, from Whitecrook and Radnor Park up through Kilbowie, out to Dalmuir and Old Kilpatrick, and on to Hardgate, Duntocher and Faifley.
The Clyde Shopping Centre holds most of the town's footfall. Independents sit outside it, on Kilbowie Road, along Dumbarton Road and out in Dalmuir. That changes how people find you. They are not walking past your door, they are standing in a car park with a phone, typing the job they need and the word Clydebank after it. Whatever comes back first gets the call.
Clydebank is also longer than it looks. Faifley, Duntocher and Hardgate sit up the hill and rarely come near the centre. Old Kilpatrick and Mountblow face the river at the other end. Each pocket searches for its own patch by name. A site that only ever says Clydebank misses the person in Faifley who typed Faifley, and they will scroll on.
What Clydebank businesses get wrong online
Competing on price and then hiding it.
CommonThe chains in the shopping centre publish everything. An independent that makes people ring to find out a price loses to the one that simply says it on the page.
Running the whole business from a Facebook page.
CommonIt works until someone searches on a phone at eleven at night. A page with no address, no hours and no way to book leaves them guessing, and guessing means moving on.
Photos of the work but never the premises.
CommonSomeone driving in from Whitecrook or Dalmuir needs to know what to look for when they arrive. One clear picture of the front of your unit saves a phone call and a wrong turn.
Clydebank in detail
Where Clydebank actually works, estate by estate
Most of the town's trade sits in three places: the business park, the rebuilt yard at Queens Quay, and Beardmore Street.
Clydebank Business Park is the working heart of the town. North Avenue and South Avenue run through it, with Baird Court, Bleasdale Court and Fleming Court holding rows of small steel framed workshop units. SGS, Howdens, MGS Timber, Northern Marine and Sixt van hire all sit there. Ascensos runs a large contact centre from North Avenue. Around the big names are dozens of one van and two unit firms: fabricators, tyre fitters, print shops, trade counters.
Queens Quay is where the public money went. The old East Yard now carries the Clydebank Health and Care Centre, opened in 2022 with six GP practices, an eighty four bed care home, the leisure centre and West College Scotland's campus with its engineering and construction workshops. Titan Enterprise on Aurora Avenue holds around thirty small office suites, some under three hundred square feet, and Business Gateway West Dunbartonshire runs its advisers out of that building.
The Golden Jubilee sits on Beardmore Street with more than two thousand staff and its own conference hotel. Patients travel from across Scotland for cataract and orthopaedic work, and a new eye centre opened there as part of a phased expansion. Rothesay Dock still works as a commercial port. Kilbowie Retail Park and Clyde Retail Park take the big shed trade. In 2025 Clydebank was named for twenty million pounds of UK Government Pride in Place funding over ten years.
- Clydebank Business Park, North Avenue and South Avenue. The trade counters, fabricators and van based firms here sell to other businesses, not to passers by. A buyer checks you before raising a purchase order, so the site needs a plain capability list, the sizes and materials you handle, your unit number and a number that gets answered. No stock photos of somebody else's workshop.
- Fleming Court and the small unit courtyards. Seventeen small units sit round one yard at Fleming Court, and the other courts are the same. Customers and couriers cannot find them. Your site needs the court name, the unit number, a map pin that actually lands on the door, and a photo of the front of the unit so people know they are in the right place.
- Titan Enterprise on Aurora Avenue. Consultants, bookkeepers, trainers and small agencies rent serviced suites here. There is no shopfront and no passing trade, so the website is the premises. It has to name a real person, say exactly what you do and for whom, and give one obvious way to book or ring. A vague homepage costs you the enquiry outright.
- Beardmore Street and the Golden Jubilee. Two thousand staff and patients from all over Scotland arrive on that street every week. Cafes, taxis, physios, barbers, cleaners and B and Bs nearby all trade off it. Those sites need opening hours that are correct, parking told straight, how far you are from the hospital door, and a booking that works one handed on a phone.
- The new homes going up at Queens Quay. Hundreds of flats and houses are being built there, warmed by the water source heat network rather than boilers. The people moving in have no local contacts at all. They search for a joiner, a nursery, a takeaway or a dog walker and take whoever looks real. Say Queens Quay and Clydebank on the page and you are in that shortlist.

Why £500 once beats "from £350"
Budget web packages advertise a low headline price, then tie you to a monthly direct debit for a year and a half. Here's how that actually adds up.
| Feature | Savvy Website | Typical pay-monthly package | DIY site builder |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up front | £500 | from £299 | £0 |
| Monthly fees | None you have to pay | £20–£30 a month | £13–£25 a month |
| Minimum term | None | Often 12 to 18 months | Rolling, but forever |
| Cost over 3 years | £540 | around £1,200 | around £700, and rising |
| Who writes the words | We do | Usually you | You |
| Your own domain | Included, first year | Sometimes included | Paid extra |
| Who owns it | You, outright | Usually them | You rent it |
| If you stop paying | Nothing happens | Site comes down | Site comes down |
Our three year figure is £500 plus roughly £20 a year for domain renewal after the first year. One like-for-like note: pay-monthly totals usually include an email inbox and ours doesn't. Email is an optional add-on, priced on request. We do offer optional care plans from £24.99 a month if you'd rather we looked after the site. It is never required, there is no minimum term, and the three year figures above assume you don't take it. Even allowing for that, the gap doesn't close. Comparison figures are typical advertised UK prices for budget and DIY packages in 2026, and minimum terms are those the providers publish themselves. Always check what your own quote includes.
The only clause that matters
£500 fixed. We don't get half of it until you're happy.
£500, fixed. Half gets the build started; the other half is due only once you've approved the finished site. If we can't get it right, you don't pay it, and the site still transfers to you.
- You approve it before the balance is due. Not the other way round.
- We carry the risk. If we can't get it right, you don't pay the balance.
- It's yours outright. Site and domain, both in your name.
The arithmetic, in full
Fixed. That is the whole cost of your website, and there are no monthly fees to us, ever.

We don't get that second £250 until you tell us the site is right. If we can't get it right, you don't pay it, and the site still transfers to you.

The work
What a £500 website actually looks like
Clydebank has plenty of builders, barbers, gyms, takeaways, driving instructors and window fitters. Start with Local Conference Solutions, live now.

After you're live · optional
Never want to think about this again?
Once your site is live it is yours. It keeps working whether you pay us another penny or not, and most owners simply renew the domain each year. If you would rather hand the upkeep over, there are two plans. Both are optional, month to month, and neither is mentioned on the call.
- Care plan, £24.99 a month. Hosting, domain, backups, three changes a month and a traffic report. For a site that is live and just needs looking after.
- Success plan, £99 a month. All of that, plus changes as you go, Michael directly rather than a ticket, and half an hour on the phone each month.
- Neither is required. The £500 does not depend on it, and we only raise it near the end of a build if we think it would genuinely help.
The bit that matters
You can take the site and never hear from us again.
Cancel any time, and the site stays yours. It does not come down, it does not get locked, and we hand over every login.
That is not how most monthly website deals work. The usual arrangement is a small setup fee, a direct debit, a minimum term of a year or more, and a site that stops being yours the moment you stop paying. Which is exactly why this is written here rather than buried in terms.
How it works

Questions
What Clydebank businesses ask before getting a website made
Would it not be easier to use somebody actually based in Clydebank?
Not really. Clydebank is about twenty five minutes from Glasgow's Southside through the Clyde Tunnel, which makes it closer than plenty of Glasgow. The whole job starts with one phone call of roughly twenty minutes. Everything after that happens by email and phone, at whatever hours work for you. If you would rather meet, we will come to Kilbowie Road or wherever you work. The price stays £500.
I sell to other businesses in the business park, not the public. Is a website still worth it?
Yes, and often more than a shop needs one. Buyers on North Avenue check you before they raise a purchase order. They want to see what you make or fit, what sizes you handle, which court and unit you are in, and a number that gets answered. Trade customers rarely ring first. They look, decide you are real, then ring. Five pages with a clear capability list and a photo of your own workshop does that job.
I run the business from home in Clydebank. Can I have a website without putting my address on it?
Yes. Your address does not need to appear anywhere on the site. We set your Google Business Profile up as a service area business, so the patch you cover shows and the house stays private. On the site we put the phone number, the hours and the areas you work in. Plenty of joiners, cleaners and childminders here run exactly that way, and nobody reading the site would know any different.
Half my customers come from Glasgow rather than Clydebank. Should the site mention Clydebank at all?
Yes, but not on every line. Put Clydebank where it is true: the contact page, the list of areas you cover, your Google profile. Then let the service pages do the selling to anyone reading from Glasgow or Renfrewshire. A Glasgow customer is not put off by a Clydebank base. They are put off by not knowing where you are at all. Being specific about where you work from makes you easier to trust.
How much does it cost to get a website made in Clydebank?
Across the UK in 2026, freelancers typically charge £800 to £3,000 for a small business website and agencies £2,500 to £10,000. Budget packages advertise from around £299 to £350, but usually add £20 to £30 a month on a minimum term of a year or more, which works out dearer inside two years.
Ours is £500 once, the same price in Clydebank as in Glasgow. The only ongoing cost is about £20 a year for the domain, and that goes to the registrar, not to us. See the full price breakdown →
Will my site be set up to rank in Clydebank searches?
Yes. Your Clydebank location and the areas you cover are written into the pages and the underlying code, so the site says Kilbowie Road, Sylvania Way, Dumbarton Road, Queens Quay, Dalmuir, Whitecrook rather than just "Scotland". We also set up or tidy your Google Business Profile, which is what puts you on Google Maps when someone nearby searches for what you do.
Nobody honest will promise you a particular position for £500, and we will not. What we will do is the groundwork properly, which is more than a lot of sites at any price get.
Do you cover the areas around Clydebank too?
Yes. Bearsden, Milngavie and Renfrew are all covered on exactly the same terms, and each has its own page: Bearsden, Milngavie, Renfrew. If your town is not listed, ask anyway, because the answer is nearly always yes. Here is everywhere we cover.
Can you build the whole website for me?
That's the whole idea. We do all of it: the words, the design, the photos, the domain, the hosting and the Google side, then show you the finished site and you tell us what to change.
Your part is a 20 minute phone call and any pictures you've already got on your phone. There's no software for you to learn and nothing for you to write.
Are there any monthly fees?
None that you have to pay. Hosting, the security certificate and backups are included for the first year, and after that the only bill is the domain renewal, about £20 a year, paid directly to the registrar. There's no contract and nothing to cancel.
If you would rather we kept looking after the site there are optional plans from £24.99 a month, but you can take the site and never hear from us again and it will carry on working.
What's the catch with the £500?
There isn't one. We keep the price down by doing one focused job well: a fast, good-looking site that gets you found and gets your phone ringing. £500 is the whole price of the website.
What it doesn't buy is an online shop, a booking system or a custom-built app. Those are real development jobs and cost real money, and if that's what your business needs we'll say so on the call rather than sell you something that won't do it. More questions answered here.
